Colin: I have lived in Bowes Park for over 10 years and love it because it feels like living in a small village close to the city centre! I appreciate being part of the local amazing community; getting involved with the BPCA is about giving something back.

Ros: Resigned. Thank you for everything.

Cathryn: I’ve lived in Bowes Park for the last 8 years, first with Jamie, my husband and then joined pretty swiftly by Ernest, 7 and Etta, 5 who both go to Bounds Green School. My sister and fellow BPCA committee member, Ann, lives around the corner and Ros, next door. I always wanted to live in Erinsborough as a teenage Neighbours fan and Bowes Park offers up the same kind of close knit, welcoming community I thought you could only find on TV! We could not be happier to have found this amazing, creative, supportive place to live.

Ann: I’ve been living in Bowes Park for 8 years and have vowed never to leave. I just love it here. The green spaces, the quirkiness of Myddleton Road, regular events and community spirit make it the best place I’ve ever lived.
I joined the BPCA board in 2013 because I could see the great work they had achieved in their (then) 15 years and wanted to help that work continue. It’s very rewarding to be part of a group of people that really do make a difference to our beautiful Bowes Park.

Emma (Chair): I've lived next to Finsbury Gardens for six years. After a rather itinerant life, Bowes Park is the first place where I feel like I belong. I love travelling (so still a bit of a nomad really), gardening, board games, Law & Order, jigsaws and wine!

Lucy: I moved to Bowes Park 11 years ago to raise a family and love the quieter pace of life, the diverse shops, the sense of community and the quirkiness of Myddleton Road. I run Myddleton Road Market and also teach children filmmaking.

Carla (not pictured): I moved to the area in 2017 and have been amazed by how friendly everyone is, and what a wonderful community it is round here. To increase the village feel even further, I’ve recently taken to popping out of an evening in my pyjamas. I’m passionate about everyone locally feeling included and no one being left out - a fundamental part of the BPCA's ethos. I promise to wear pyjamas out a bit less.
