Finsbury Gardens News

Daffs-March-2019.jpg

A car smashed into the railings along Finsbury Road in January, and badly damaged three sections.  We have been very glad that Haringey got the railings mended with the good ‘heritage’ railings that the BPCA had restored in 2012.

Haringey Parks have done a lovely job with pruning the hedges. The daffodils are up and looking lovely, the crocuses were pretty but faded very quickly and the granite horse trough on Nightingale Road is bright with white primulas and blue grape hyacinths. We look forward to another jolly year in the Gardens – do please help to keep it clean by putting your rubbish in the bins.  Thank you to the locals who do have litter-pickers and put them to good use.
