Community Garden update

The much loved Community Garden on Myddleton Road has struggled over winter. The relentless wet weather caused so much flooding the space has had to be closed while a long term drainage solution is found.

The Community Garden Committee have been in touch with a number of organisations and experts to find a way of aerating the ground. This will ensure that the well used space can be enjoyed for years to come. Work will be ongoing to try to improve the drainage problems and access may sometimes be restricted. More updates will be posted on the garden gates.

We are always looking for helpers to keep the space looking loved, with the great community events and to share the admin of keeping the garden open. If you would like to get involved on a one-off, short term or long term basis email myddletonroadcg@gmail.com for more information.
